LePage Bests "Gay" Michaud as Repubs Gain Power in Legislature

On a day when Republicans made significant gains nationally Mainers rejected the "conventional wisdom" of libs, progs and the media.  Voters gave outspoken Governor Paul LePage four more years in the State House.  He will have a Republican Senate and strengthened House of Representatives with whom to work for the next two years.

This is a hopeful sign for two reasons.

1. The Republican Platform makes the Party officially pro life and pro marriage, even though it has demonstrated countless times an unwillingness to fight for these ideas.
2. LePage's thinking isn't perverted on sexual morality.  Watch this youtube.  He knows sodomy is evil.

Democrats, on the other hand, are hopeless.

Unfortunately this gain for Republicans may end up being seen as a defeat for Christians.  Prominent powers within the party practically threw the ancient faith under the proverbial bus in order to appeal to what the media describes as the center, or moderates.

American culture is awash in sin.  History shows, however, that this can change overnight as a result of spiritual awakening and moral reform.  LePage's victory suggests that all may not be lost.  With almost no friends in high places he still captured nearly half the votes in a three way contest where he was outspent at least two to one.  This election was the most expensive in Maine history.

In the closing weeks of the campaign Maine watched their Governor's race become a national contest between New Jersey Governor/2016 Presidential hopeful Chris Christie and President Barack Obama.  Pro Life Christie came to Maine many times to stump for LePage.  Pro sodomy Obama came to Portland late last week for sodomite democrat Mike Michaud.  

Obama and "gayness" lost big yesterday.

It seems Putin isn't the only one giving the lame duck politician a spanking.  A majority of America's voters clearly aren't in his corner either.

Russia has been distinguishing itself lately as a culture unwilling to bend over for the sodomy movement.  Just this week the business community demonstrated impressive resilience.  A business dismantled an interactive memorial to Steve Jobs.  The business proclaimed, "In Russia, gay propaganda and other sexual perversions among minors are prohibited by law."

Apple's current leader, Tim Cook, publicly celebrated his evil lifestyle in a breathy essay last week.

Tim Cook: Yawn

Three days ago Tim Cook decided to tell the planet that he is a sodomite.

Tim Cook took Steve Jobs place at the head of Apple, in case you didn't know.  Jobs died a couple years ago.

Cook made his "momentous" revelation in a weird essay published in Business Week.

He wrote.

While I have never denied my sexuality, I haven’t publicly acknowledged it either, until now. So let me be clear: I’m proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me.

God has given me.  Really?  God.

He doesn't say in the essay whether it was the same God you and I know.  He chooses to completely ignore theology, the Bible and religion in his essay -- other than to claim that God gives the gift of "gayness."

Unlike Cook, Paul the Apostle wasn't the guru of his culture's sexiest computer maker.  But he wasn't a nobody either.  And he knew something about God.

In a little letter he penned that may actually be more well known and loved than the iPhone Paul reveals in specific language some disqualifications for membership in the Kingdom of God, among them ... men who have sex with men.  Cook's despicable hunger for sodomy is many things.  We can all rest assured that none of those things can be construed as a "gift from God."

Also instructive is the context into which Paul places his unequivocal condemnation of sodomy.

Wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God. Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Sex is a pretty important topic in Christianity and the Bible.  Three of these nine sins have to do with human sexuality.  While this prioritization makes sense Cook's flimsy reasoning doesn't.

The writer of another New Testament letter, Jude, wrote:

In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

 Contrast this with Cook:

Being gay has given me a deeper understanding of what it means to be in the minority and provided a window into the challenges that people in other minority groups deal with every day. It’s made me more empathetic, which has led to a richer life. It’s been tough and uncomfortable at times, but it has given me the confidence to be myself, to follow my own path, and to rise above adversity and bigotry.

While it is true that "gays" number less than three percent, it has been awhile since widespread acceptance of their "lifestyle" has been a minority issue -- at least in New England.  A majority of Maine voters legalized the forced acceptance of sodomy and transgendering on the entire population in 2005.  Voters followed that absurdity with the forced implementation of sodomy based marriage in 2012.

The dictionary definition of empathetic is to show a ready comprehension of another's state.  I won't argue that Cook isn't fully capable of showing a ready comprehension of a worldly person's state.  He doesn't, however, have a clue about a Christian's state.

The idea that children are to be indoctrinated into a sodomy-accepting state by publicly funded organizations is pure evil to the Christian.  It is a very serious matter.  Cook is willfully oblivious so that he can play this petty sexual orientation game of his.

The problem for all of us is that Tim Cook isn't hurting only himself.  Apple is a much loved brand all over the world.  It creates beautiful expensive devices that many people choose to covet.  Apple is more than a company.  Apple inspires.

It doesn't, however, inspire like Jesus.  He says:

Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.

And Paul observed:

For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

A once bitten Apple is not the source of real comfort.  Suffering with Christ is the source of our comfort.  A once bitten Apple, Cook's logo, hearkens back to a dark day in the Garden when a fallen angel seduced the woman.  Adam entered into the sad seduction and the rest ... as they say ... is history.

Tim Cook is a "progressive."  Truly he has taken a bite from the Apple, and he believes with his whole heart that he is helping humanity progress.  The opposite is, of course, true.

Satan is the father of lies.  He is a deceiver.  His attack is aimed at the heart of humanity.  I can't think of a more effective way to destroy humanity than to cause the exaltation of sexual pleasure -- especially the act of sodomy.

The exact opposite of the once bitten Apple is what Jesus gives.

The glorious Gospel of Life.

Better Practice Saying Governor Michaud

James Fallows of the Atlantic makes an important observation in this article.

He observes that Cutler's release of his supporters to make a "strategic vote" and Angus King's immediate announcement that he would vote for Michaud shifts the fundamentals of this three way election.

Paul LePage defeated Cutler by just 10,000 votes four years ago.  He left the Democrat, Libby Mitchell, 100,000 votes behind.

The election is now Michaud's to lose.

LePage has run a typical establishment style Republican campaign.  He's ignored the issues that make the heart of his base beat.  This leaves him with tepid and cold support from the money people.  The Christians who take time to vote will cast their ballot for him because there's nobody else.  There is not, however, any momentum.  Nobody cares all that much.

And Christians are becoming increasingly uninvolved in politics as the country they love morphs into Sodom.  I don't blame them one bit.  A life is full of a limited number of money and minutes.  Christians are waking up and realizing that the fund raising letters are full of lies.  They know that candidates won't fight to end abortion and criminalize sodomy, no matter how many envelopes they lick.  They are walking away from churches and politics.  They should.

Christians properly prioritize these issues when they think about doing something political.  A nation that allows "doctors" to murder babies for convenience sake while it jams sodomy down the throats of vulnerable children is pure evil.  Christians don't recognize their nation.  And it disgusts them.

It is probably too late for America.  If it isn't, it will be men willing to fight evil who will save it.  Nothing else will do.

A Time to Plant: Faith verses Strategy

This is spring time and many will be sowing their gardens, and we all know we can not expect the harvest for several months. We also know we can not predict what kind of harvest we will receive. Last year was a poor harvest but that will not stop any of those who planted last year to try again this year.

From the winter we had, and the spring we are having, I am optimistic we are going to have a better harvest this year. However, from the many comments I am reading I am not so optimistic in the political arena, because we need God’s blessing, but we are not giving Him anything to bless; that is, we are still looking to sow by strategy and not by faith.

The Bible says in Hebrews “through faith [they] subdued kingdoms.”  In both the old and new Testaments we are taught the “just shall live by faith”, it does not say acknowledge faith as a Bible doctrine and then live as we please. And what is faith but our voluntary cooperation with what we know to be God’s will. And what is His will in the election process but to vote our conscience and not strategy.

When we vote, let’s say the strategy of the “lesser of two evils”, by our own admission we are still voting for evil. The prophet Hosea said “They sow the wind, And reap the whirlwind. The stalk has not bud; It shall never produce meal. If it should produce, Aliens would swallow it up; Israel is swallowed up...”  Whenever we vote strategy over conscience we are sowing the wind, and we shall be swallowed up. When we vote strategy we place our trust in our own wisdom and not in God, but in order to sow something that God will bless we must sow in faith.

Many of you are angry, and full of threatening. But James said in the Bible, “ye fight and war, yet you have not because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lust.”  If many of you would pause for a moment and reflect, you could not deny you are entering into this election season without one particle of faith in All-Mighty God. And yet you will be the first to expect a different result—this is not faith, this is insanity. (Deuteronomy 28:15+28-29)

My beloved friends—I would like to call you friends—it is not too late to sow in faith our political aspirations, but if we sow the same old “lesser of two evils” strategy we shall reap the same old harvest. In Ecclesiastes it say “To every thing there is a season…a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.” Now is the time to plant your political aspirations by faith.

Won’t you give up this faithless, “lesser of two evils” strategy and sow with me a crop of faith in this political season. The only way we shall regain our country is by faith. We may yet lose another election, but by placing the matter in God’s hands some good will come from it. Our seeds of faith will be in good ground, and if we continue to water it by faith we shall have a political harvest of abundance very soon.

In Proverbs we read “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Many are growing strong in their own strength, but fainted long ago in the only battle that counts. That battle is the battle of faith, and you do not have to be part of any organized religion to exercise faith in this election. (Hebrews 11:31) This chapter also says that by faith the weak were made strong, became valiant in battle, and turned to flight [rout] the armies of the “aliens.”

The illegal aliens from Mexico are far less dangerous to this Republic than what I call “illegal aliens” in the White House, the Halls of Congress, the Courts, and in State legislatures across this land. These illegal aliens are elected or appointed leaders who have denied the Constitutional rule of Law; and this has caused “we the people” to be swallowed up by them. Our Constitution is the only constitution in the World that recognizes Religious Freedom. We as a people have relinquished that freedom; it is time to exercise that freedom again.

The only way these ‘illegal aliens” can be driven out of the halls of government is by faith. It is time to subdue “by faith” the kingdom of America for righteousness. Trust God and Vote Conscience Not Strategy!
